Our Club has the latest student-parachutes in the world, with 9-chambers ram-air type canopy Navigator-280 and Skymaster-290 and Equinox 300.
These parachutes are equipped with Cypres device, which opens a main parachute in case of failure or in case when parachutist doesn’t do it. This device then cuts away main and deployes reserve parachute. These systems have a latest models of reserve parachutes ram-air type Tempo 250 and Smart 250.
The jumps are taken from UTVA-66 airplane.
In the Aero Club Sveti Ilija, instructors hold an advance training by advanced methods where students make theire first jump at very first day of training. A layman could think that is to short period of training, but for every next jump you`ll have an extra preparations. With all time supervise by instructor offcourse.
The first jumps are made from 850m by static line, which is connected to airplane and opens on it`s own. After several jumps like this, you can go to self deployed jumps, depending of your first results. Safety is improved by using of KAP-3 device for main and CYPRUS for reserve parachute.
If you become good enough in self deployed jumping than you can jump from higher altitudes, such as 2000 , 3000, and 4000m. Skydiver who wish to do sport skydiving must practice a different types of disciplines such as relative jumps, figure jumps..etc. You need sport skydiving licence for this of course.
The only term is to be 16 years old and medical examinated.
For this training you can apply from all parts of BiH and abroad, and while you are on training you will be put up for the night. Those who would like to do sport skydiving should be 16 up to 18 years old, and because of para – ski skydiving discipline, they would need a skiing experience.
The priority is safety, and that is most important in our school, witch is guaranteed by 55 years of tradition.

Answers on Frequently Asked Questions:
- Jump prices are not on the website because constant change in fuel prices.

Mandatory mecidal exam cost
(40KM - valid for 1 year) and mandatory insurrance cost
(20KM - valid for 1 year) are not included in price for the 1st jump.

In the price for the 1st jump are included:
- theoretical and practice classes
(8 hours),
- parachute and equipment lease,
- jump, of course.
- We are very flexible considering payment methods.

Training for the 1st jump lasts only 1 day.
- For all of you that are not from Banjaluka sleeping arangements are free at our Club premises at the airfield.
- There are no age limits except that you must be over 16 years of age. Medical competence for parachuting is determined by medical exam which can be done at our airfield and lasts about 30 min (valid for 1 year). |
